Casey E James lyrics to Hold On & link

Casey James & Kristian Bush wrote this song together while they were in Sioux City, IA 3-19-2011
Before they begun singing the song they sat down on the end of the stage and asked 2 people in the pit to hold their sheet music. One was just a boy.

The majority of the lyrics how I figured it out. I hope to ask Casey James on Friday to fix the blanks and check if it is right.
Accompanied by co-writer Kristian Bush of Sugarland March 2011

Time is slow, fog is rising
Sky is broken far as I can see
I can see through the darkness stars are shining.
There's a voice that carries me
sayin' hold on hold on.
It'll turn before too long.
When it feels just like all hope is gone
Don't give up, baby hold on.

Heartbreak follows me all around you
covered up in brick and dust
Cross roads (or Rose grows)
out of the rubble
Whispering love to each of us.
sayin' hold on hold on.
It'll turn before too long.
When it feels just like all hope is gone
Don't give up, baby hold on.

ummmm
We'll find faith to rise above it
Find a rock where you can stand
When the ground stopped shakin' neath you
what you know has fallen down
Take a hand babe if they need you
don't let go of what you've found

Hold on Hold on
It'll turn before too long
When it feels just like all hope is gone
don't give up baby hold on

Sayin' Hold on, hold on
it'll turn before too long
when you feel like you, you cant' go on
don't give up baby hold on
I say
don't give up baby hold on

@Everydayisa10 aka ptlallday1 alerted me that the song began a bit earlier, so I went back and put in what I think is the first line

  3. Welcome hunny!! I listened over and over and the rose line is what makes sense to me! I'm having a hard time decyphering much more of it. Surely we'll get a nice clear version of this soon!!! I love this song!! And it just hit me today the song is about the horrible tragedy in Japan. I'm slow I guess! But I couldn't really understand the words, so when I did, it did connect for me. Wow....they were thinking of what those poor victims are going thru and this came directly from two beautiful hearts....and I love it!!!!
